This is all you need to know.

INSTALLATION

Once you download the exe file which you can get here,

double click on the file to start the installation process. The first screen that will pop open is a license agreement page.



You must click on the I Agree button.



The next screen will pop open with the default Destination Folder for the software to be installed in. We recommend you leave it as is and click Next in the bottom right corner.



The next screen is very import. In this part of the installation process, you must select a password. This is done to restrict access to the application only to you.

Be very careful what you type in and be mindful of what you are typing as we do not show the password as it is entered.

In event that someone finds the application and tries to run it, they cannot access it (and the key press data it contains). In other words, the application is secure and for your use only.

Click the Next button when you are ready to proceed.



This next screen is the setup for where you would like to install the program in the Start Menu Folder. We leave it as mod but you can change it to whatever you like.

After you decide either to leave it as mod or to something else that you like, click the Install button when you are ready to proceed.



MOD Keylogger will install and once completed, you can click the Close button in the bottom right corner.



The next screen is the Try, Buy or Activate screen and you can choose which you want to do by clicking on the radio button beside your choice and then clicking the Next button after you are done. This will start the program right away or you can cancel and use the program later.

USING THE QWERTYSTUDIO MOD KEYLOGGER PROGRAM

HOW TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE PROGRAM

*Once installed, the program can be run from
Start -> Programs -> mod -> mod

The program will open and you will see the screen below.

To exit the MOD Keylogger, you can click File then Exit or press Alt+X at the same time.



You can also use the Exit button which is located at the bottom of the program window as shown below.



OPTIONS OF MOD KEYLOGGER

RUN AT STARTUP

To start MOD Keylogger automatically when Windows starts, click Options then click Run Key Capture at Windows Startup as shown below.



RUN IN INVISIBLE MODE AT STARTUP

To start MOD Keylogger automatically in invisible mode when Windows starts, click Options then click Run Application in Invisible mode (aka stealth mode) at Startup as shown below.

*If you select Run Key Capture at Windows Startup and Run Application in Invisible mode at Startup: the application starts when your computer is started, and it runs in invisible/hidden mode. At this time it is actively saving your keystrokes for you to review.



*To bring the application out of invisible/hidden mode, press ALT-Z five times in a row. At this point you will be prompted for your password. If the password is entered correctly, the application will be shown and you can view the key reports.

VIEW REPORT

To view the report, simply click Options and then click View Report as shown below.



After you click View Report, all of the key presses that have taken place will be shown in the programs windows.



The first column shows the number of text inputs.

The second column is the Windows Title. This shows the program where the captured text took place in.

The third column is the Keypress Data. This is where all the text captured is displayed.

The section below all three of these columns is a larger display table for you to see more of the info collected. Clicking on one of the sections in Windows Title or Keypress Data will display all of the captured information here. It's simply just a larger area to display your collected text.

*When you are finished viewing the key reports you can save them, or clear them, or do nothing. You can hide the application again with the 'Hide' button (it will continue to save key strokes).

EXPORT A REPORT FROM MOD KEYLOGGER

Mod Keylogger has an tool that allows you to export all of the reports from the program.

To do so, click Options and then Export Report as shown below.



A new window will pop open as below.



Pick a location where you want to save your file and enter in a filename in the File name: area. Click Save and that's it. You can go to where you save the file, double click it and it will open up in your browser.

RESET PASSWORD

Sometimes you may wish to change your password. To do so click Options and then click Reset Password.



A new window will pop up where you can enter in the new password you wish to choose.



Enter in your new password and click the OK button. If you change your mind and don't want to enter a new password, click the Cancel button.

HIDE WINDOW

If you happen to have the MOD Keylogger open in visible mode and wish to re-hide it, you can do so by clicking on Options and then clicking on Hide Window as shown below. Or you can hold Alt and the Down Arrow.



The program will go into Stealth Mode. To make the program come back, simply hold Alt and press the Z key five times.



A box to enter your password will appear where you will enter your password. Enter in the password you chose and then click the OK button.



A new box will pop up telling you you congrats, click OK and you can use the program again.

In the event you enter in the wrong password, a denied box will pop open. You have to click the OK button. The program will go into Stealth Mode again and you must hold Alt and press the Z key five times.

The password box will pop again and you'll have to try again.

BUTTOM ROW BUTTONS

All of the commands for MOD Keylogger can be used with the buttons on the bottom row. They are listed as shown below.



If you need an explanation of the commands, simply find them above on this page.

One exception of a command not covered is the Clear Report button. Clicking this button will clear all of the reports since it started or since the last time it was cleared.

When it is clicked, MOD Keylogger will asked you if you really want to do this. If you want to, click Yes. If not, click No.

*If you ever get stuck, the most helpful thing you can do for yourself: reboot. It's a sad part of living with MS windows.
